Fredericks Foundation Case Study
Fredericks Foundation is a UK-based charity that helps disadvantaged people to set up, or expand their own business. The founder of Great Business Websites has had an ongoing relationship with Fredericks since 2001 and we are happy to be continuing to help them grow and carry out their good work.
Great Business Websites produced exactly what we are looking for with the minimum of fuss and at a very reasonable cost. Their team's expertise is the key to a good job, well done and thank you. ![]()

what?
"please sort out our website and make it look more up to date, be easier to find what you're looking for and the content pleasant and enjoyable to read. We also need to be able to easily create new forms for things like event-registrations and applications for loans and have an easy way of accessing the results."
how?
design a site that allows for internal adverts to promote all of the ever-changing things that are happening within the charity and the people it helps. This ranges from it's founder, Paul Barry-Walsh beating Sir Richard Branson to win the "Philanthropist of the Year" award from CNBC Europe, to 21 very determined ladies crossing the Namibia Desert and raising over £43,000 to one of the loan recipients being able to buy a van to further develop her fledgling dance business.
is it working?
the new site went live on the 23 Sept 2009 and it looks great, is much easier to navigate and is currently doing a good job for the charity, an average visitor spends over 3 minutes 20 seconds on the site, showing that it is now well laid-out and full of interesting and engaging content.
